<p>Well, the heck with it. I’m gonna let you in on this secret anyway. It’s just too good not to share with another gym nut. I mean… it’s the lazy bodybuilder’s DREAM — no special equipment necessary, instant results, and it’s practically permanent.</p>
<p><em>Here’s the story: </em>A friend of mine asked me about training hard the other day. He struggled into my lounge room with a big old box and dropped it on the floor. The loud thud damn nearly shook the foundations of my lounge room to very core.</p>
<p>“Leaving town, Jeff?” I said. He straightened up his back, and wiped the sweat from his brow. “It’s books,” replied Jeff. “We’ll you better take them back,” I said. “The library hates books being overdue.” He began to open the top of the cardboard box.</p>
<p>“It’s a whole bunch of magazines, actually.” He started lifting them out and spreading them all over my lounge room floor. “Bodybuilding magazines.”  “Wait a minute, Jeff,” I said. “I don’t want any bodybuilding magazines, you know how I feel about that stuff.”</p>
<p>“No, no,” he said. “You gotta help me. I’ve been saving every month for years.”  “No problem,” I said. “You can use the paper shredder in my office if you want, but you gotta be finished before Angela gets here. We’re going to see a movie in twenty minutes.” He gave me this look of sheer horror.</p>
<p>“You’re crazy, I don’t want to get rid of them. I want you to go through them with me.”  Now I was the one with the look of horror.  “All of them?”  “You bet,” he said. “What the hell for?” I screeched.</p>
<p>“Somewhere in that pile of magazines is the perfect training program, that will pack muscle on me like  you wouldn’t believe. I just know it’s in here somewhere, I just gotta find it.” Jeff had this wild determination in his eyes.</p>
<p>“Jeff,” I said. “All you gotta do is lug that box around with you for long enough, that’ll build your biceps like nothing else.”  “Now wait  a minute!” He motioned towards the pile of magazines on the floor. “I’ve been collecting those for two and a half years. They’re full of cutting-edge information. Right?”</p>
<p>“Some of them,” I said.  “Then the perfect program is buried in there somewhere. All I gotta do is find it.” I started  laughing at him.  “Jeff, I can give you the solution to your muscle gaining problems a lot faster than the time it will take to go through those magazines.”</p>
<p>“Well, what is it?”  “Intensity,” I said. He looked like I had just asked him to go clean the bathroom.  “I already know about intensity.”  “Jeff ol buddy,” I said. “I have seen you workout. If you already know all about intensity, you would never guess from watching you train.”</p>
<p>“Whatta you mean. I work hard.” He said.  “You may work about as hard as most guys, but most of those guys don’t see any muscle gains either.” He looked hurt. “It’s not just you, Jeff,” I said. “Practically everyone I know does exactly the same thing. Not one in a hundred guys work with a much intensity as they should.” He gave me a skeptical look. “I’m not kidding,” I said. “Not one in a hundred.”</p>
<p>“Crap,” he said. “How hard do you have to work then?”  “To get as big as you want?” I replied. “Yeah,”  he spat back. “You really wanna know?” I asked.  “Sure,” he said. “You’re not gonna like it.”  I replied. “Gimme your best shot.”</p>
<p>“O.K., Jeff,” I said. “I’ll tell you how intense you gotta work.” “But first I better explain one thing. When I say intense, I don’t mean dragging yourself through a hundred exercises. I mean doing a VERY basic program, but working extra hard on each exercise. Intensity is the most important single factor for bodybuilding success. You’ll improve without a lot of other things; but you won’t get far without intensity.” Jeff looked upset, but I continued with my lesson anyway.</p>
<p>“Working hard on your exercises is almost MORE important than the actual exercises you perform. Even the worst of exercises will produce some results if you work hard enough on them.  That’s the biggest secret of all. INTENSITY. It will do more to increase your muscle gains than the most “cutting-edge” program you could ever design.</p>
<p>Remember, too many guys make the mistake of looking for some magic program&#8230; with super-sets, and intervals, and all that other nonsense. You will do much better if you stick with the basics&#8230; and just add intensity.”</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-indent: 0px;"><span class="first">A</span>re you finally ready to stop fussing with your workouts… and just take total control of how muscular you want to look?</p>
<p>Because if you’ve ever suspected &#8212; like most good hardgainers I know &#8212; that the best way to learn how to pack on muscle is to just figure it out yourself… you now have proof it’s true.</p>
<p>I distinctly remember hearing loads of “expert” advice many years ago… from a “certified” trainer at a very fancy health club… and just getting extremely ticked off.</p>
<p>Because this trainer &#8212; and I use the term loosely &#8212; kept insisting that I needed to make my body do things my body very much did not WANT to do. He was trying to make me into a “Mini-Me” version of HIM.</p>
<p>And that’s just beyond stupid. I’m not him. I’ll never be him, and I’ll never be anyone else, either. I’m me&#8230; for the rest of my days.</p>
<p>Did YOU listen to a bunch of so-called advice before you learned none of it made an ounce of difference? Of course not. You maybe used your Dad’s old set of weights, or a friend’s… and you just figured it out.</p>
<p>I’ll bet the muscle gains didn’t come as fast as you wanted them to, or as much as you wanted… but you kept working out anyway. Right?</p>
<p><em>Here’s the stark fact an increasing number of guys are coming to terms with: </em></p>
<p>Unless you plan on becoming a professional bodybuilder… you will always make better gains using a simple plan. (Trying to beat pro’s is different, because the game is just ridiculously dangerous at that high level where drugs are the most important part of your program.)</p>
<p>If being the best built man in your circle of friends… or at your local drinking hole… is a “good enough” goal for you… then I have a way for it to become your REALITY.</p>
<p>It’s like everything in life. When you know how things work, and what to do… and you have even a tiny bit of experience doing it RIGHT… then it’s not a big darn mystery anymore.</p>
<p>When I first became a homeowner, I had to hire someone to come over and fix a leaking sprinkler head in my landscaping. I watched him kneel down, unscrew this simple plastic thing, replace it with a new plastic thing (three bucks at Home Depot), brush himself off, and hand me a bill for $70.</p>
<p>The next time a sprinkler went bad… well, I fixed it myself. It was NO BIG DEAL! Still, before I’d seen it done… it was, I admit, a big scary mystery. After I’d seen it done… no more mystery.</p>
<p>It’s the same with building muscle. There’s just not that much about it you need to know to be able to gain muscle, get ripped… and even make your buddies at the gym think you are on “the juice” even though you wouldn’t touch the stuff with a ten foot pole.</p>
<p>This is so simple, you’re gonna kick yourself for not having figured it out on your own. But don’t feel bad. Often, the simplest answers are the toughest to find… because we tend to look at things as being so mysterious, they must be COMPLEX, too.</p>
<p>And that’s just NOT true when it comes to packing on muscle.</p>
<p><em>Here’s the story:</em> Back in September last year, I  managed to talk my way into a closed-door, invitation only party, at a notorious “celebrity” night club that is permanently burned in my memory.</p>
<p>Earlier that afternoon, I went to one of the local gyms and asked about a man named Phil “The Beast” Johnston&#8230; because I’m told, he has one of the biggest all natural builds unlike any other man alive. They told me how to find the exclusive club where he worked, and that night I drove over to see him.</p>
<p>The club was literally dripping with beautiful women. They were only ever so slightly out numbered by the men, at a ratio of probably four to one. There was no doubt who was Johnston&#8230; In fact, I almost had a heart attack when I saw him. He weighed about 290 pounds and ALL of it was muscle. I climbed up 0n a table and introduced myself.</p>
<p>“Tell me, Phil,” I said. “You still a natural (no drugs) bodybuilder?” He laughed. “Damn straight.” He propped an arm like an elephant’s leg up on the bar. “Wanna arm wrestle?” I looked at the arm. “No thanks.” He looked surprised. “NO? How come?”</p>
<p>“Phil, I’ll tell ya,” I said. “You might break my arm, and I don’t think my insurance will cover it.” He smiled broadly. “You know,” he said. “You’re one of the very few people who ever walked in here and didn’t think they could beat me.”</p>
<p>“You’ve gotta be kidding,” I said. “I ain’t too bright, but I’m not crazy.”  I threw my shoulders back, and puffed up my lanky chest. “I’ll tell you what I would like, though&#8230; I’d like to know how you got to be so damn big and strong.”</p>
<p>“Sure,” he said. “Take a seat at the bar and I&#8217;ll give you the details.” I grabbed one of the only vacant stools at the bar, and sat next to a stunning blonde that would make Paris Hilton look like your Grandma. Phil ripped the lid off a couple of beers. “You can drink on the job?” I asked&#8230; a little surprised. “All part of the customer service.” replied Phil. He asked me how I was doing with my training&#8230;</p>
<p>“Not too good&#8230;” “I can’t seem to gain weight.” Then he asked me what sort of program I was doing&#8230; So I rattled off a bunch of exercises like I was calling the races. I’m not totally sure he’d even heard of half of them.</p>
<p>“Crap,” he said. “That’s an awful lot of work. How long does it take?” “About two hours.” I said. “How often?” he asked. “Six days a week.”</p>
<p>“Man, oh man,” he said. “No wonder you’re not gaining weight. Why don’t you go get a job on a construction site? You’d work about half that hard&#8230; and they’d pay you for it.” “But&#8230; I wouldn’t gain much on a construction site.” I replied&#8230; feeling a little hurt.</p>
<p>“You’re NOT gaining a hell of a lot training either.” “No,” I said. “I am a bit thin.” He took a good look at me. (back then you could have opened the beer tops with my knee caps.)</p>
<p>“Yeah,” he said. “You are a bit.” I started to squirm around like I’d just been kicked, and I think Phil began to feel a little sorry for me. “Look,” he said. “Where’d you get the idea that you had to train that often?” “All the magazines, and bodybuilding websites.” I said defensively. “Don’t you read them?”</p>
<p>“No,” he said. “I read <em>The National Enquirer</em>. It’s not quite as funny but it makes more sense.” Phil shot a smile at the blonde sitting next to me, as she slipped him what looked like her phone number.</p>
<p>“Well, I dunno,” I said. “There’s lots of advice in the mags, and online about gaining size and strength.” “Do you follow it?” He asked. “Sure.” I said. “Did you gain any size?” “Well no,” I said. “But I’m gonna stick with it. I got lots of determination and will power.”</p>
<p>“You got lots of rocks in your head&#8230; you could put muscles on a lamp post in the time you’ve been training.” “You think there’s a better way to get bigger and stronger then?” “Sure.” He said. “How?” I asked.  So he told me.</p>
<p><em>Here’s the amazing muscle gaining secret that I’d have been waiting for:</em></p>
<p>“Gaining size and strength is the easiest thing in the world. But there’s certain principles to follow and you’re not following any of them. One of the most important things is the amount of time you spend working out. You don’t need to spend very long at it. If you’re trying to increase your muscle size, you’re way better off doing too little than too much.”</p>
<p>“You’re kidding.” I said. “Are you telling me that I have be working out too much?”</p>
<p>“That’s right.” Smiled Phil. “Anybody who works for a living and spends six days a week working out is making a social outcast of himself. Keep that up and the next sound you hear will be your girlfriend laughing, as she runs off with your best friend.  Besides, you can gain ALL the muscle you want and still lead a normal life. You gotta realize that you only have so much energy. If you exceed it you won’t build up&#8230; you might even lose weight. It’s really easy to reach a point of diminishing returns very quickly.”</p>
<p>Phil and I spent a long time talking. I asked about every aspect of his training and workout philosophy. The fact that most guys spend too long at it, kept coming up over and over. “They (practically everyone who uses weights) do way too much. They’d look better if they did less.” He stressed.</p>
<p>He taught me a lot about proper training that night in the club&#8230; but&#8230; the big moral of the story was this &#8211; <em>If you can’t gain muscle size, you’re doing something seriously wrong. </em></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-indent: 0px;"><span class="first">T</span>his is the kind of  story I love to share.  It sort of “trashes” the jerks in  bodybuilding’s self-righteous teaching circles by exposing their inability to help most non-steroid users with their training, and also reveals<em><strong> </strong></em>a simple, easy way to put your own muscle gains immediately on “hyper-overdrive.”</p>
<p>And natural bodybuilding is just so much more fun when you’ve learned a quick way to explode your gains from every workout. With more rock-hard muscle, more power, and and simple techniques that give you stunning results from each and every training session.</p>
<p><em>Here’s the whole story:</em> When Kevin was four, his parents took him to be inoculated. The sterile building frightened Kevin, the nurse frightened him even more, and when he saw the needle he cried and ran out on the street. His parents caught him and brought him screaming back, and to quiet him down they promised him the needle wouldn’t hurt. The nurse, who dealt with fifty frightened children a day and told them all the same lie &#8211; agreed with his parents. In fact, she even laughed and told Kevin that the needle would only <em>“tickle a teensy little bit.”</em></p>
<p>Satisfied by all this adult reassurance, Kevin offered his arm. The nurse jabbed in the needle and the point broke off and it took the doctor twenty screaming minutes to dig it out. Kevin didn’t get sick with the flu that year, but he did become very skeptical towards the promises of other people.</p>
<p>When Kevin left school he went into selling real estate. By the time he was twenty he was good at it and ready for a promotion. His girlfriend rode a motorcycle. She urged Kevin to try. <em>“It’s easy,”</em> she said. <em>“Like falling off a log.”</em> Kevin fell off the motorcycle and broke his right arm in two places. He couldn’t work for three months and the promotion went to another man who didn’t ride motorcycles and never trusted anyone.</p>
<p>Kevin started weight training when he was twenty-four. And because he was very skeptical and evaluated everything carefully, and because he was violently opposed to wasting time and applied himself conscientiously, he made progress. He was small boned and finely muscled and because of this he put weight on slowly. By the end of the year he had a nice physique. Still slim, but defined and symmetrical.</p>
<p>But he needed more bulk, so I told him about some of the simple secrets to build muscle fast. He was skeptical. So I started at the beginning and went over the theory of muscle building from A to Xmas. I ended up with a simple program for him to <em>“give a try.”</em> You’ll add some serious muscle. You need more muscle, you know. <em>“You’re still kinda skinny,”</em> I told him. Kevin looked a little hurt by the comment,  so I mellowed my voice and told him that. <em>“He’d gain muscle and look better for it.”</em> Kevin pursed his lips and said that he’d give it a try.</p>
<p><em>Here’s the bottom line:</em> Modern “personal trainers” and steroid users have screwed-up everyone’s training so bad you just THINK you need to use illegal drugs or  “one more session” to finally get the power and muscle you want when the TRUTH is, the secret for even out-of-shape, uncoordinated and “muscle challenged” guys to get the bulk and strength of a 290 pound superman has been under your nose all the time!</p>
<p>No new equipment, no special “juiced up” programs, no weird new diet to memorize. Amazingly, Kevin used modern exercise science to dissect and simplify the advanced secrets of the legendary great bodybuilders and now has no trouble at all teaching even someone who has NEVER used a set of weights before these same secrets of the “perfect routine.”</p>
<p>The results? Kevin gained over 29 pounds in less than 2 months. He is now consistently building new muscle like a monster.  He’s consistently squatting with well over 300 pounds in perfect form and he’s usually so close to the end of his workout before he even thinks about what to have for dinner. Last month he added over one and a half inches to his arm measurement on about the worst bone structure you could ever imagine. (And he’s not the only one whose muscle gains have changed so dramatically!)</p>
<p>What’s really astonishing is that it was so EASY to “get” these advanced, simple but powerful overlooked secrets mastered! Kevin proved something we’ll bet you, too, have suspected for a long time: Namely, that bodybuilding just got totally screwed-up somewhere between the simple, pure powerful methods of the past&#8230; and today, where (if you believe the “experts”) you think you NEED a $2,500 set of BowFlex training equipment and a box of Dianabol just to get decent muscle gains.</p>
<p>Well, I’m here to tell you the so-called “experts” are just wrong! Steroids aren’t your solution, and they&#8217;ll never be your answer to faster muscle gains!  Once you’ve rediscovered the “advanced” techniques and secrets of the great bodybuilders gone past,  who knew the natural way to pack on the muscle, you can go dig out your grandpa’s ancient weight set from the attic and still consistently out-gain your buddies with rock-hard, true 20-plus pound muscle gains that seem to happen right before your very eyes! (Heck, you can even let them use their expensive “cheater” growth hormone with the illegally-juiced-up anabolics, plus the latest NASA-designed training equipment  — and they still won’t be able to touch your gains!)</p>
